Makeup and hair artists use trials to try things out and make your look the best it can be. They aren't scared to make mistakes during this time. Trials help make your look just right for your wedding day. Remember, trials are fun and shouldn't be taken too seriously. If it doesn't work out with the artist, don't worry - you can always try again.

One important part of your hair and makeup trial is wearing the same color you'll wear on your wedding day. If your dress is dark red, don't wear bright pink; if it's ivory, don't wear dark colors. This helps your makeup artist make your look match your gown.

A couple of tips that are appreciated by all makeup and hair artists!

• If your trial is at the makeup artist's home, tell them if you plan to bring someone with you. This is polite and makes sure everyone is comfortable.

• Don't take more time than you agreed upon for the trial. Remember the purpose of a trial is to try things out, and a reasonable time for the trial is set/communicated at the time you book the trial. If by the end of the trial, you want to try out more things, another trial can always be booked.
